Welcome to Ski Base, Vail Colorado's top Ski Rental and Snowboard Rental Shop. We are located in Lionshead just steps from the gondola. Locally owned and operated by Jay and Sari Lucas, Ski Base is Vail’s resource for state of the art ski rentals and snowboard rentals, equipment, repairs and clothing – all at a great price.

We are proud to offer top-notch demo rental equipment from Rossignol, Salomon, Dynastar, Nordica, K2, Volkl, Head, Fischer, and Aramada. Ski Base carries a full line of clothing and accessories from Oakley, Sessions, Giro, Spy, Dragon, Helly Hanson, Smith, and Fate. In addition to being a full-service ski rental, snowboard rental and retail shop, we are proud to be Vail’s “Freestyle Skiing Headquarters”.

Ski Base offers free, overnight rental equipment storage and the best prices on seasonal repair and ski rental and snowboard rental packages…guaranteed! We utilize the latest tuning equipment, run by the top ski and snowboard techs around.

Ski Base is located west of the gondola, next to the General Store in Landmark Tower in Lionshead Village.
